Panchakarma can be done for those patients who are fit for the particular cleansing program as described under panchakarma and according to the guidelines given in the Ayurvedic text.

Panchakarma can be done for all those patients who are suitable for purificatory program as described under panchakarma guidelines given in the Ayurvedic text. Individual treatment is decided solely after the detailed consultation with the Ayurvedic physician.
Patient suffering from communicable disease, bedridden, wheelchair-bound, critically ill, and patients suffering from severe infection are not suitable for panchakarma.
